In a British mood

For the past week I've been tearing thru Netflix's British movies and sitcoms. i really really enjoyed the show Skins. it is the rawest view of teenagers i have ever watched no i lie kids really took the cake. But skins is like a British kids. After that i got into an old British mood watching wives and daughters (its dragging but OK), The Duchess of Duke street (old but a treat non the less), He knew he was right ( very emotional for me), Bleak house (bored me to tears) it really goes on and on and on. So I kinda know why I've been bombarding myself with these movies. The good old days with the good ole rules. People were active match makers and everything was in order. Everyone knew who to deal with and who to cast away. who was squandering their inheritance and prowling for the rich merchants daughter and who was rich and looking for love. Men took charge of their love lives and it just took an instance for everyone to know that they were in love and it was time for marriage. I'm being told to make a pros and cons list about my "significant misfit" and I'm scared to tears cause i already know the numerical giant will be on the con side but don't pros out way cons like positive energy versus negative energy? ahhhhh well for the mean time i will watch my Emma, little women, Jane Eyre's and such and although my black ass would have been a slave or a side show at a circus i can only imagine being apart of that time but with the right credentials.

The Beginning

Well we are certainly goin to struggle with this blog. Im a grammatical misfit and i skip words and thoughts from time to time, but damn it i want to get my thoughts on whatever out there. I am a self acclaimed movie fiend. I love them and my other love is (wait for it wait wait wait) Reggae. I am crazy for reggae the music the culture etc etc. I will be discussing both of these in my Blog amongst other things that are interesting and intriguing to me. I hope the spark the interest in others as well.

I just came up with Roxyz Reels and Reggae when i pulled up the Blogger website.
Well lets start with movies
I have a Roku and netflix and I'm loving it. I have access to tonz and tonz of movies, foreign and otherwise. I am a fan of the foreign and independent films. I will watch almost anything just to say I have like that movie with the guy in the hood that was a ninja (Ghost Dog). I thought it was a disaster the first time i watched but i watched it till the end.
